Pattern & Path Press is the publishing imprint of the Neuro‑affirmative Network. We are an author‑first indie publishing house dedicated to supporting first‑time, neurodivergent, and underrepresented authors.

We believe there is no single correct way to write, publish, or succeed. Through ethical publishing, accessible practices, and clear guidance, we help authors navigate their own publishing paths. No exploitation. No pressure to conform.

  • We look for readiness, not perfection.

    You need:

    • A complete manuscript, OR

    • A clearly outlined work-in-progress with a realistic timeline

  • We assess:

    • Why this book matters to you

    • Whether our values align

    • Whether your expectations match what we can offer

  • We are not a fit if an author:

    • Wants guaranteed bestseller outcomes

    • Is seeking ghostwriting without disclosure

    • Is unwilling to engage respectfully in the process

  • We require that:

    • The work is original

    • The author owns or controls the rights

    • AI use (if any) is transparently disclosed

    • Harmful, exploitative, or plagiarised content is not accepted

  • Intake is limited to ensure quality support.

    We may:

    • Defer projects to a later intake round

    • Suggest alternative pathways (education first)

    This protects both us and the author.

  • Production Support (Assisted Publishing) includes:

    • E-book and paperback formatting

    • Full manuscript assessment

    • Print on demand platform setup

    • Book cover design
